Reviews: Travel pouch puzzles for over 5’s

1. The Crocodile Creek travel pouch puzzle Ocean

by Writings, Ramblings and Reviews

The Ocean Travel Puzzle has 100 pieces and comes in a handy pouch great for travelling!  The puzzle measures 8″ x 12″ when finished, the picture is beautifully drawn and there is so much to talk about with your child.  The pieces are as sturdy as they need to be for puzzle building.

The puzzle is aimed at 5+ and I would say that is probably fairly pitched. Mouse loves puzzles and couldn’t wait to get her hands on it, but she did struggle a little – she is 3, but we did it together and it was fun, she still felt the sense of accomplishment at the end and we had lots of time to talk about the ocean, the fish, the reef and more!

Gifts from the pirates Puzzle review

This puzzle is definitely value for money, we have had loads of play out of it already and it is currently only £5.00 on The Toadstools site!  I have not seen a puzzle like this before, the illustration is unique and the pouch is definitely new to me. We love the pouch, it isn’t excessive packaging for the puzzle and makes it easy to store!

We are looking to buy the others in the range too, Animal World next I think!

2. The Crocodile Creek travel pouch puzzle Pirates

approved by Gifts from the Pirates

You can’t beat the good old fashioned ways to keep your children entertained. Jigsaws are timeless, I played with them when I was younger, the boys love them now and I’m quite sure that if we’re lucky enough to have grandkids in the future they will too. Their great for quiet play which can come in handy every now and again if you need to get things done or if someone is sleeping in the house.
